Dr. Galvin and the team at Western Iowa Dental provide quality dental care to patients in the Council Bluffs area, focusing on a comprehensive approach to oral health. Dr. Alexandria Truong
Dr. Truong graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2021. Prior to working at Western Iowa Dental, Dr. Truong served four years as a general dentist in the U.S. Army at Fort Riley, KS. A native of Denver, Colorado and now longtime resident of Omaha, she enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She chose to go into dentistry to give her patients confidence in their smiles by providing quality comprehensive care they can trust.
Dr. Nick Samuelson
Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Dr. Nick is both a Husker and a Bluejay; graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Psychology, and Creighton University with a Doctorate of Dental Science. After getting his DDS, he moved to Georgia for orthodontic residency.
Dr. Nick demonstrates his passion for patient education and care in his volunteer work. While at Creighton, he served as co-director of the One World Dental Clinic, which provided dental care to those unable to regularly afford it. He also spent his time working with community schools providing preventive dental care and education to the students. When able, he also travels to the Dominican Republic through Creighton's Institute for Latin American Concern (ILAC), which provides the opportunity for Dominicans living in disconnected rural communities to receive much-needed dental care.
Available on Tuesdays. Dr. Nick offers both traditional braces and Invisalign
