Dr. Marie Day
Taking your oral health day by day with Dr. Day
Dr. Day understands that oral and dental health is not a sprint- it’s a lifelong marathon full of choices and challenges. She strives to understand the challenges each individual patient faces and curates treatment plans that work with them (even when life gets in the way). Dr. Day offers a wide variety of quality comprehensive treatments from simple fillings to root canals and dentures. She also works hard to listen to each patient and make sure patients understand the treatment they are receiving and the “why” behind the treatment.
Dr. Day first said she wanted to be a dentist when she was 4 years old. Growing up, she was heavily involved in 4-H- doing everything from showing rabbits to knowledge quiz bowls. Dr. Day obtained her bachelor's at Creighton University, where she majored in biology and minored in studio art and medical anthropology. After being the first in her family to pursue and complete a bachelor's, she was also the first to complete a doctorate. Dr. Day achieved her lifelong dream when she graduated from Creighton School of Dentistry with her D.D.S. In her free time, Dr. Day enjoys going swing dancing with her husband and hanging out with her rabbit.
Dr. Nick Samuelson
Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Dr. Nick is both a Husker and a Bluejay; graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Psychology, and Creighton University with a Doctorate of Dental Science. After getting his DDS, he moved to Georgia for orthodontic residency.
Dr. Nick demonstrates his passion for patient education and care in his volunteer work. While at Creighton, he served as co-director of the One World Dental Clinic, which provided dental care to those unable to regularly afford it. He also spent his time working with community schools providing preventive dental care and education to the students. When able, he also travels to the Dominican Republic through Creighton's Institute for Latin American Concern (ILAC), which provides the opportunity for Dominicans living in disconnected rural communities to receive much-needed dental care.
Available on Tuesdays. Dr. Nick offers both traditional braces and Invisalign
